Ex-Eagle Thinks Browns Are More Talented Than Philly

Mychal Kendricks, former Linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles believes his new squad has more talent than his former team. The Super Bowl Champion was captured on HBO Network’s show: Hard Knocks trying to pump up his teammates in a film study session.

Kendricks was released by the Eagles on May 22nd after Philadelphia failed to find a trade partner in the draft willing to take on his hefty contract at the time. The Linebacker then signed a one-year “prove it” deal with Cleveland worth $1.4 million dollars.

The comments come on a week where Cleveland is set to host Philadelphia for the 3rd (and most important) preseason game. Whether Kendricks was trying to hype up his team to face the Super Bowl Champs in a meaningless matchup, or getting himself ready to prove the Eagles made a mistake, either one is foolish.

Fans of the show will have to wait until next week’s episode to get the extended version of Mychal’s speech. For now, here’s a look at the teaser (courtesy of HBO):
