PHILADELPHIA, PA –
Both Eagles cornerbacks Jalen Mills and Sidney Jones will sit out the Sunday Night Football matchup against the Cowboys this week.
The bye week came at a good time for the Eagles, but both of these players clearly need more time to recover. Jalen Mills injured his foot in London against the Jaguars and was carted off the field. He later told reports that he didn’t think the injury was serious enough to sideline him for a long time, but he will at least miss game one of this rivalry.
Sidney Jones injured his hamstring against the Giants back in week six and is still trying to work his way back. He too will need to wait at least one more week to return to game action.
The Eagles continue to battle the injury bug as Lane Johnson is officially questionable for Sunday. Darren Sproles was though to return this week but reaggravated his hamstring on Wednesday.
Philadelphia is looking to take back control the division and is all starts with a divisional showdown in primetime against the Cowboys. To get you set, listen to Episode 15 of our Birds Informer Podcast.
More to come.
