ESPN has released their early 2018 projections for the upcoming season after last week’s conclusion of the Fantasy Football Rankings Summitt. Let’s take a look at what the experts are projecting for the Philadelphia Eagles Tight Ends this season:
Ertz finally had his breakout season and the experts noticed. Heading into 2018 season, Ertz trails on Rob Gronkowski in fantasy/stat projections. Last year, Ertz was ranked as the 9th Tight End option behind Delaine Walker and Tyler Eifert, yet now he’s ahead of Travis Kelce, Greg Olsen, and others. Ertz has put up three consecutive seasons with 800+ yards but became the most consistent tight end option in fantasy last year.
- 2018 Position Rank: 2nd Receiving: 82 rec / 884 yards / 7 TDs
BONUS: 2nd-round selection Dallas Goedert is expected to be the next best option according to ESPN. Experts project him to be the 45th best TE in 2018 and haul in 20 catches for just under 200 yards and two touchdowns. (Advice: take the over on all of them). Richard Rodgers is the 80th best option.
