NFL Columnist Buck Brooks released his 2018 All-Rookie Team ahead of the start of Eagles Organized Team Activities today and Dallas Goedert took home the honors at Tight End. Below is his analysis:

“Tight end: Dallas GoedertPhiladelphia Eagles (Round 2, No. 49). Eagles coach Doug Pederson quickly finds a way to take advantage of Goedert’s playmaking talents as a “jumbo” slot receiver.”

Despite being the third Tight End selected in April’s 2018 NFL Draft behind the Ravens Hayden Hurst (SC) and the Dolphins Mike Gesicki (PSU), The Eagles have high hopes for Goedert. Starting now, Goedert will look to earn the second roster spot at tight end as he will battle it out with free agent signee Richard Rodgers.

Zach Ertz is the clear-cut number one tight end, but the combination of Ertz, Goedert, and Jeffery will add some serious height to the red zone attack this upcoming season.

More to come.
