The newest members of the Philadelphia Eagles received their jersey numbers for the 2018 season as some of the returning players have also switched. Heres a look at some of the highlights:
Both cornerback Ronald Darby and running back Jay Ajayi have elected to switch numbers ahead of the 2018 season. Darby was originally handed 35 when he was acquired in the 2017 preseason but ended up wearing 41 this past year. The young corner picked up Patrick Robinson’s number of 21 from last season. Ajayi on the other hand, switches from 36 to 26 for the upcoming season.
Major Free Agents
Michael Bennett has work 72 his entire tenure in Seattle but wore 71 in Tampa Bay. He has selected 77 as him midnight green number as Halapoulivaati Vaitai current wears 72. LB Corey Nelson sticks with 52 as he comes from Denver and TE Richard Rodgers keeps 82. League veterans Haloti Ngata (94), Mike Wallace (14), Paul Worrilow (50) have all made changes. Most notably is Ngata obtaining Beau Allen’s old number.
